Heritage lounge integration

How a single display was introduced into a traditional lounge without disturbing its character.

The environment

A well-established private aviation terminal serving European business travellers and UHNW leisure passengers. The lounge aesthetic is warm and heritage-focused, with rich wood panelling, leather seating and curated art. The operator sought a revenue-generating digital placement that would not disrupt the established visual tone or feel commercial. The brief was clear: any installation must feel as permanent and considered as the existing architecture.

The placement logic

We selected a 55" commercial display with warm colour calibration to match the lounge's existing lighting temperature. The display was recessed into an existing wood-panelled wall, creating the impression of a framed gallery piece rather than a screen. Installation was completed in four hours during off-peak hours. No structural modifications were required, and the display sits flush with the surrounding panelling. The result is an enhancement of the lounge ambience—a digital touchpoint that feels as permanent and considered as the architecture itself.

The visual loop

Each lounge carries a small number of brands within a calm, continuous loop. The sequence blends three to five brand features with neutral ambient pieces between them, ensuring clarity, balance and composure throughout. The loop follows a gallery rhythm with simple, unhurried transitions that preserve the room’s composure. The lounge retains full veto rights and has exercised this twice to decline brands that did not align with their passenger demographic.
